Women don’t hold my interest past a week, until she accidentally leaves me a voice mail so hot it melts my phone.
Quinn has only been the woman in black, but now I see past the color she hides behind. She’s the blonde with the heart-shaped ass, perfect tits, and luscious ruby-red lips. The woman I need.
Those words keep replaying in my head and I can’t stop thinking about her.
When my father suddenly dies, I learn I must marry within the year, or the family fortune will go to my step-monster and her two sons, Dumb and Stupid.
I know just the woman for the job.
I’m William Bettencourt and I’m about to teach this vixen how to forget every man who came before me.
San Francisco has become too expensive to call home. I can’t help but take a second job to make ends meet and payoff my expensive school loans.
Leaving William that message was an accident. Now I could lose my day-job.
I don’t have time for men, but when he offers me a trip home to pose as his fiancée and the reading of his father’s will, this just might be the distraction and extra money I need.
I don’t want to be anybody’s girlfriend, much less his fake fiancée, but the money is too good to resist.
My name is Quinn Faraday and my life is a mess. It’s only a week, how hard can it be?
Enchanted is a standalone romance with a happy ending. It’s the eighth book in the Billionaire Venture Capitalist series and reveals more about SHN. You can read it on its own, everything you need to know is explained, but once you get a taste you’ll want to binge the rest ;}
OK. This is a decent story with good pacing and and expansive cast of characters in the company which flesh out the story very nicely.
I’ll be honest, I’ve not read any of the previous books in this series, and whilst it would have enhanced my understanding of the various other relationships, I don’t believe that impacted my appreciation of this couple’s tale.
For me, William was a character for whom my opinions changed throughout the book. I vacillated between liking him and not. At times, he was just a bit of a one track minded, arrogant pig of a man, but then by turns, was sweet and thoughtful.
Quinn was, for me, far more straightforward. I felt for her and the situation she found herself in.
As a couple, leaving aside the issue of the money, they worked well together. Add in the suspense storyline, and I had a book that I was happy to have picked up.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
