New Release & Review – Game Changer by Sylvie Stewart @sylvie_stewart_

Game Changer by Sylvie Stewart
Publication date: 18th July 2019
Genres: Adult, Comedy, Romance

There are three things I know about New York so far: everybody is late for something, nobody has a freakin’ clue what sweet tea is, and King Kong himself is still alive and well and has taken the form of a growly blacksmith named Mac.

This is no shifter story and I’m not his prey, although I wouldn’t say no if he asked for a little taste. I’ve been saddled with interviewing the beast to secure my new dream job in publishing, but his intense stares and monosyllabic responses are making my job impossible. I just need to get this over with and move on to navigating my new life and career. I’ve got this, right?

But my professional and personal challenges are proving bigger than I realized, and Mac might be the only one who truly understands this game. He’ll be my biggest ally if I let him—and the way he keeps saying my name makes me really want to let him. The thing is, this city is known for breaking hearts, and it doesn’t care if you’re the new girl in town or the beast who calls it home.

Game Changer is a slow-burn standalone romantic comedy with an emotional punch.

review

Well. Ms Stewart has definitely brought her A game with this one. I mean,Holy Hotness, Mac is a fabulous growly alpha male, whilst Poppy is the perfect counter-point to him. I just love this pairing together – they work so well

And as for the book overall – I simply inhaled it. Seriously. One sitting. In fact, I could quite happily have devoured significantly more about these two.

Loved every word.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

About the author

Sylvie Stewart is an author of Romance and Romantic Comedy. Like the characters in her books, North Carolina is where Sylvie calls home these days, and she can’t get enough of the great weather and fun adventures NC offers. She and her husband love arguing over which of them is the funniest. Sometimes, she lets him win because she’s cool like that. When she’s not writing, she is hanging out with her husband and kids or reading, Romance being her favorite genre, of course. And she knows that life wouldn’t be worth living without a lot of laughter, friends, and wine!
