Book & Author Details:
We Aimless Few (Mira Brand #6) by Robert J Crane
Publication date: 19th November 2018
Genres: Sci Fi, Fantasy

“When I ran away, aged seventeen, I didn’t do it for the usual reasons…I did it because I was looking for adventure.”

My name is Mira Brand, and I’m a Seeker – a treasure hunter who can cross between worlds seeking long-forgotten treasure hoards of ancient races. My home is London, but I work in the worlds beneath our own, seeking after my own fortune.

Or at least I was, until I was beset an unimaginable tragedy. My life torn apart, I was finished. Adrift.

Except…they wouldn’t let me out. Not that easily. One more time, I said. One last adventure.

And after that…I’d be done.

Just when I think that I have the measure of this series and these characters, Crane switches it up. I don’t know why I’m surprised. It’s not the first time he’s done it.

But this time, the change has produced a side of Mira we haven’t seen before. I like her more as a character as a result.

This addition to the series is something of a catharsis. There’s a feeling that things are reset. Lines are drawn. Plans are made.

I look forward to seeing them unfold.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
