Author: Donna Alam
Genre: Erotic Romance
Expected Publication: September 19th 2017

Playing His Games.jpgFantasies. We all have them.
The night I go home with him, he’s mine.
Dark. Dominant. His hot Brit accent makes me wet.
He has secrets. A past. A son.
But that night, I only know I want him.

I’m not a one-night stand kind of girl.
I don’t get drunk.
Don’t go home with handsome strangers.
I’d never creep out next morning,
Without exchanging names.
Until I do.

Until he finds me again,
And melts my inhibitions.
Until I’m dancing to his dark tune,
And bending my rules.

I shouldn’t—I won’t—fall for him.
But I can’t stop playing his games.

review

I first read this story in a different iteration.  The review is HERE.  It wasn’t bad.  Not bad at all.  That book has been re-written and is bigger and better.

Hotter than its predecessor, this story explores both the couple’s emotional and sexual relationships.  And, whilst that description might sound a little … uninspiring, trust me when I say that is definitely not the case.  That extra depth makes this a more rounded, more engrossing story, and one that I didn’t put down until it was done.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

About the author

Donna Alam writes about exotic locations and the men you aren’t married to, but wish you were. Escapism reads with heart and humour and, of course, plenty of steam.

Hailing from the North of England, she’s a nomad at heart moving houses and continents more times than she cares to recall. She once worked at a school like the one described in her Pretty Trilogy. Alas, there were no handsome male protagonists hanging around there.

An Eclectic reader and part-time perv, she’s a huge fan of smart men, as well as protagonists with a fair measure of inappropriateness.
