Published by: Two Princes Books and Publishing
Publication date: June 21st 2016
Genres: New Adult, Contemporary Romance
Everything is finally going right for James and Kate. She has opened herself to the possibility this will be the one time in her life a man won’t shatter her heart. James has the woman he’s longed for. Then their coach and close friend, Rick, gives them some news that rocks everything down to the ground.
James is back at square one and Kate has regressed, shunning him away. Her family struggles haunt her each day and she can’t catch a break. But she loves him. He loves her. They spend their lives wrestling in the ring to defeat every opponent they come across, but is this one fight too hard for either of them to win?
Will someone finally tap it out?
James knows she is the one for him and he sets out to prove his love, one day at a time. If he can win her heart, he’ll win it all.
Intended for mature readers 18+. Some situations may not be appealing to all readers, including sexual situations and language.
The good news about this book is that it is better written than the first. However. This is still not, I’m afraid, a wonderfully written tale.
The language is more natural in cadence, but the characters were still difficult to connect with, and although there were difficult issues dealt with in this story, I didn’t feel emotionally affected by them.
Sadly, I also felt that the ending was rushed – almost as if the author had lost interest in the story.
I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
