Or has it?
Cassidy is on her own. Commander Chris Young remains in California to combat the shadowy forces of Omega, while Cassidy attempts to rebuild the militia’s strength at Yukon City. Uriah True has ideas of his own when it comes to surviving, and the militias are splitting apart.
Veronica Klaus is unleashing hell upon the west coast. The true, terrifying nature of Omega is revealed at last. A dangerous, desperate move is made to find reinforcements and seize a weapon that could give the militias an upper hand.
It just might kill everyone on planet earth.

Here are some rapid-fire, fun facts and trivia questions for the bestselling author of The Collapse Series, The Zero Trilogy and The Bravo Saga! Feel free to use as little or as many questions as you like.
Ready? Set? GO!
What is your favorite classic novel?
Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte.
Favorite band/artist/song of the moment?
My favorite band of the moment is Lady Antebellum, my favorite artist is Keith Urban (I got to meet him this year and he was great!) and my favorite song of the moment is It Was Always You by Maroon 5.
Favorite writing snack or beverage?
My favorite writing snack is a sliced Fuji apple and gluten-free pretzels with white sharp cheddar cheese, supplemented with a glass of iced green tea. I realize this is very specific, but when it comes to writing snacks, it’s serious business, you know.
What’s your ultimate dream?
To live in the country and have the companionship of God’s best creations: animals! I have never had the opportunity to enjoy the companionship of a pet. I am obsessed with animals and love them dearly – I even wrote an entire bestselling novel about a dog! For work, I have had to do an incredible amount of research on military working dogs and their training. When I was a little girl, I was lucky enough to watch a demonstration of a law enforcement K-9, and I fell in love with working dogs right then and there. My dream is to have 2-3 dogs (German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds or Huskies), a couple of cats, chickens and a few cows. I would be the happiest person alive.
Favorite television show?
I have a few. Modernly I love, love, love Gilmore Girls and enjoy The Walking Dead. My favorite show of all time is still The Andy Griffith Show, though.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would split my primary residence between two places: a home in the California countryside and a house at the beach, either San Diego or Hawaii.
Favorite way to spend your downtime?
Reading, picnicking in the mountains, napping on the beach, and cooking or baking new and exciting dishes for my fiancé.
Favorite animal? Favorite color? Favorite coffee drink?
Favorite animal is a dog (duh!), favorite color is a cross between forest green and navy blue, and although I rarely drink coffee, I enjoy taking it with just a slight touch of creamer, although I will drink it black.
Favorite childhood memory?
Spending the hot, lazy days of summertime exploring the woods in the mountains and reading a book on the back porch of the cabin, smelling the pine trees. My imagination was so wild as a kid – it was magical. I loved that feeling.
