Book & Author Details:
Legion (Southern Watch #5) by Robert J Crane
Publication date: April 12th 2016
Genres: Paranormal

LegionMidian, Tennessee is under siege. Demons prowl the streets and the underworld is rising, bent on consuming every living thing in the town. The only thing that keeps them back is the Watch; a group of citizens that are dedicated to holding the line against the darkness. They’ve faced every kind of physical threat imaginable and come out victorious. But when a new demon blows into town with the power to possess, the Watch finds itself facing something they’ve never dealt with before…one that will test them all to their very limits…and one which not all of them will survive…

“Our name is Legion, for we are many”

That, right there is chilling.  But this book?  A masterful addition and easily the scariest of the series so far.  There’s no reaching for the urban dictionary; no need for the brain bleach.  Instead, what Robert has given the reader with this book is a nasty, insidious, creeping evil.

With the team facing an implacable foe, the plot is horrifyingly, disturbingly brilliant.  I’m kind of in shock right now.  And I’m very, very worried where the author is going to go next with this series.

This book may just linger with you for a while – don’t say I didn’t tell you.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
