The bestselling and highly acclaimed Soul Savers series, with over 1 million downloads, continues with Book 5, Sacred Wrath.

However, the unthinkable happens, Alexis’s biggest fear comes true, and nothing will stop her from recovering what is hers. Except, everything and everyone tries.

Suspicious humans set traps to ensnare the supernatural. The world powers have closed their borders as they prepare for war. The Demons’ army grows exponentially by taking innocent souls—souls that Alexis must protect. And a power-hungry sorceress schemes to rule them all, with revenge on the Amadis matriarch topping her priority list. Alexis is forced to choose between those she loves dearly and the souls of all of humanity, but when there is no right answer, she’s bound to lose. The question is—who will it be?

review

I read the first 4 books of this series some time ago.  Over 2 years ago.  I was worried, when I returned to the series with this updated book #5, that I would have lost the thread.  I hadn’t.

From the very first word, the author re-ignited my memories and my affection for this series.  What I had forgotten was the skill with which Ms Cook draws the reader into this utterly engrossing story.

With a strong thread of tension and a frustrating sense of helplessness, this story will take the reader on a ride of highs and lows of emotion.  A word of warning – be prepared for tears.
